I cannot see the channel I want
There are many reasons why your page might not show. This article will direct you to the right place to find a solution.
Introduction
Most of the time, if you can't find the channel you want to connect, it's likely because of the permissions on your account. These issues are usually easy to resolve.
In rare instances, the problem could be a disconnect between the Willow platform and the social media provider. If this occurs, we will assist you in resolving it.
Refer to the guide below to identify and address these issues.
If you are unable to find the Facebook account you are looking for, it is recommended to refer to the guide on properly setting up your Facebook account. Meta, the owner of Facebook, has a detailed set of permissions that must be configured correctly before integrations can be added. We can assist you with more information about how to fix Facebook channel issues.
📣 Quick Fix To add integrations, make sure you have an admin or editor role on the page or business portfolio that owns the page. You can verify this by navigating to Meta Business Suite → Settings → People and ensuring you are listed as a user with Full Control access.
As Meta owns both Facebook and Instagram, often the issues are interconnected. However, we have a specific guide for solving Instagram channel issues.
📣 Quick Fix Your Instagram page needs to be attached to a Facebook page to be available for integrations. Read how to connect your Instagram to a Facebook page.
LinkedIn Pages
If you are unable to find the page you want to connect, it may be because you are not a super admin of the page. Super admins have the ability to add integrations.
Typically, the creator of a page is automatically assigned as a super admin, but this role can also be granted to others as needed.
To add a new admin:
- Go to your Page super admin view.
- Click Settings in the left menu and select Manage admins.
- Click the Page admins or Paid media admins tab.
- Click the Add admin button.
- Enter the name of the member, associated employee, or advertiser you’d like to add in the Search for a member field.
- Select the admin’s name from the list that appears.
- Select the required admin role.
If your issue persists, please contact customer support.
LinkedIn Personal
Issues with personal page connections are seldom encountered. However, if your account has been suspended recently, you may not have the ability to add integrations.
Another possible solution would be to remove any conflicting integrations from your list of permitted services.
You can verify on this page if Willow is listed as a permitted service - if it is not, please try the integration process again.
If the issue continues, feel free to reach out to customer support for further assistance.
X (prev. Twitter)
Similar to LinkedIn, issues with X accounts are uncommon. Accounts that have been previously suspended may face restrictions when adding integrations, but this is typically not a common problem.
You should look to see if there are conflicting integrations in your list of permitted services and remove them. If Willow does not show in this list then please retry the integration process.
